River Rehabilitation and Conservation

AWW also conducts water quality monitoring programs to assess the health of the Jukskei River, providing valuable data to inform conservation efforts and policy advocacy. Through community education and awareness programs, we aim to foster a sense of stewardship among local residents, encouraging sustainable practices that benefit both the river and the surrounding communities.

Alexandra Water Warriors  has set an excellent example for other communities to follow, demonstrating that when people come together and take action, they can make a meaningful difference in their environment. The project has also helped to raise awareness about the importance of protecting and preserving natural resources and has inspired others to get involved in environmental initiatives.
